ExamSoft Privacy Policy

Although the information collected by ExamSoft is limited and minimal, Exam Taker privacy is very important to us. To better protect Exam Taker privacy, we have adopted the following guidelines in the handling of any personal information gathered:

• Exam Taker Information is gathered for the purpose of verifying examinee registration for ExamSoft and its Licensees, for customer support and to ensure proper delivery of exams to exam takers.
  
• Exam Taker Information is password-protected for their privacy and security.
  
• ExamSoft promises never to sell, rent, exchange or otherwise provide any personal information collected, including but not limited to name, ID Number, email address, school attended, courses enrolled in or exams taken, hardware type owned or used, and network location (IP address) to any third party for any reason unless by court order or with express permission of the Exam Taker. If ExamSoft should at any time file for reorganization or liquidation in bankruptcy this promise will remain in force.
  
• To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
  
• Although ExamSoft dispenses “cookies”, they are used exclusively for security purposes and for identifying visitors while on ExamSoft's website.
  
• When visiting any Internet site, a unique address called an "IP address" is recorded. ExamSoft does not release any information about the collection of this address to any third party.
